Voice prompt constantly and way too loud

Bought this a week ago. It's not my first bluetooth speaker, so I'm sure it is not my tablet or phone.. but this bluetooth connection goes on and off constantly. The music plays just fine, sound is good and I love the remote, but every change in bluetooth connection is being vocalized by a loud womans voice stating 'bluetooth is' either connected, disconnected or connecting.. Drives me crazy!!! I searched, but no way to turn off the voice unfortunately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as an entry level soundbar. Easy to hookup & use. However the most annoying thing this thing does is announce power on, bluetooth connection & power off very loudly. I wish there was a way to disable those announcements.
