Not as good as I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this soundbar expecting that it would improve the audio on my Vizio 42" TV, and I was disappointed that the speakers on the Vizio actually provided greater volume and definition than the soundbar. The soundbar was actually easy to set up and I was please with the features of the remote control. I decided to use an optical cable for connecting the soundbar to the TV unfortunately the optical cable was not provided with the iLive soundbar which was frustrating and an extra expense.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a Christmas gift from my company, so unfortunately I cannot return it. I hooked it up to my 50" Roku TV and the sound quality is terrible, very tinny with absolutely no bottom end whatsoever. Now I have to figure out what to do with it. I am hesitant to regift it because the sound quality is so poor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
