This is the best surge protector on the planet. I used it in a AV installation with a Tripp Lite 8ru cabinet - and its simply the best. The spacing of the outlets on one side allows multiple power brick to be plugged in - as well. 12 outlets and a 90 degree plug with easy mount holes on back makes this one the best. All Tripp Lite products are superior to the competition as it's nothing but Tripp Lite products for me and all my installs.

We purchased three of these strips, and they are great! We were able to connect all the wires for our TV/sound system to one strip, safely protecting them all and eliminating the need for two strips as in our previous setup. We also are using these for protecting our computer devices in our schoolroom. I like the fact that they feel heavy-duty, have enough space between outlets for big plugs, have three lights (on, grounded, and protected) to show if it they are really working, and that the company has a good reputation for honoring the warranty. I look forward to a long life of protected power for our equipment!

I have a couple of networking devices connected to this. The cord for this is a good length at least 4 -5 ft. Simple lit switch to turn on/off. Comes with mounting screws to mount the surge protector if desired.

This surge has open-close sliders which prevent you from touching the unused sockets accidentally. It also has Ground and Protected LED indicators. The awesome thing about this surge is that it will automatically cut off your power when it can't protect you anymore, which instantly protects you from being electrocuted. Regular surges only have the indicator but not the auto-disconnect feature, and that could be dangerous since you're not always looking at the "Protected" LED indicator to see whether it is still protecting you.
