Light come on red everynight

These lights are cool, with all the different colors and patterns and such. The problem we’re having is that every night when the lights are scheduled to come on, they just come on red. Doesn’t matter what we last had it set to or anything like that. Just red every night at the same turn on time. If flip the wall switch off then back on, it puts it back to our pre programmed color. None of my other Govee lights have this problem. Minor gripe, but annoying none the less.

I was using the standard builder grade carriage lights for years and never happy with them, even with smart bulbs installed. What a world of difference these wall lights made to the front of our house. I love that they can be paired with both my spotlights and my permanent lights to have a cohesive look and special effects. Our house is on a corner and I see people all the time standing on the sidewalk watching our lightshow.

The lights are fairly easy to install. The screws are terribly cheap- I get it, cost is an issue. The light output is adequate, however it would be nicer if the up/down throw was longer. The light color capabilities are adequate, but not as accurate as Hue’s. My biggest beef is with the app- it’s awful! Clunky and very difficult to navigate. Scheduling should be super easy to do, and not take a bunch of ciphering to figure out.
