This solves a problem most RV users don't even know they have. My small RV trailer went through several air conditioners when owned by a friend. When we purchased it from her I was intent of fixing this shortcoming. I found out the the model of a/c used was more sensitive than most to burning out at under-voltage, and that the storage unit where it had been kept (and some RV sites) had large voltage drops due to poorly designed wiring schemes. Trip-Lite's 1800W Power Conditioner is ideally suited to automatically eliminating the low voltage problem, as well as others caused by less than ideal electrical distribution systems which an RV traveler might encounter. This unit and its function should be more widely known!

I have 2 gaming computers hooked up to this power conditioner. I know the product is doing its job is because I hear it "click" every time the air conditioning unit turns on....That means it is protecting the computers! It is compact and fits perfectly on the bottom shelf of a shelving unit. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to protect valuable electronic equipment.

This AVR has already paid for itself since our office location seems to be on a part where we have several outages this is protecting our big Xerox printers. The Tripp Lite 1800 does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have voltage fluctuations at my house in the country and needed something to smooth out those ups and downs to prevent damage to a variety of music equipment. This box did the trick. I am very pleased and will probably buy another one when I complete construction on my studio.

I've not had it long, but I have the TV, stereo amp, subwoofer amp and other things plugged in. Only heard it click once so I guess my line voltage is decent. Turns out the same unit was recommended days later for my stage amps, so I bought a second one. The voltage at the first club I played was different in every outlet I tested w the volt meter, the lowest being 115v up to 130v. Trip Lite was steady at 120v nominal.

I recently installed a digital X-Ray. It failed to function because the city regularly supplies 139 volts rather than 120. This Tripp Lite voltage regulator was the perfect and inexpensive solution to control the voltage. It's also great to have the surge protection.
