Beautiful block and great knife set

I absolutely love this block set. The Zwilling Pro knives are amazing. The way the bolster is curved so you can actually hold your knife properly is a game changer! The knives are so durable, really well constructed, and will hold up for a long time thanks to the ice hardening process these knives go through. This block set is beautiful with the Walnut wood grain, the black handles and dark toned wood looks really nice together; I also like that the slots in the block are created specific for the Pro knives and how they fit perfectly in the block. I love the assortment, all knives I use and want in a set, including steak knives.

This set is a perfect set if you are looking to upgrade an old knife set and great for wedding gift and even housewarming gift. With 6pc. steak set in this block is worth the price.!!! It is always to have extra steak knives, they can also be a utility knife for any small cutting foods. Really Awesome Set - Beautiful Walnut Block

This set of knives is one of Zwilling's best. Pro line knives feature the most innovative design thinking and are manufactured with the latest technology in the industry. They each have a fully integrated angled bolster that is easy to pinch grip, keeping the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control. The full tang of the blade is riveted in three places to the contoured composite handle for comfort and security.
And every knife is forged from the one the best cutlery steels available. The quality of the steel is important because the better the steel, the longer a knife will hold an edge and how easy it will be to sharpen. These knives will stand up to a lifetime of use. Minimal maintenance. Hone them regularly and sharpen, at most, once a year. I hand wash so they look brand new, but they are dishwasher safe.

This dark block is sure to stand out on your kitchen counter and features so many of the essential knives you need and a few you'll be surprised you use! The unique colored block has slanted slots to comfortably house the innovative curved bolsters of the Pro knives. The Pro handles are incredibly ergonomic and the aforementioned curved bolsters will give your pinch grip the comfy boost it needs. The German steel blade is super durable and is sure to stay sharp a really long time.

For the gourmet at-home cook or someone who loves Pro knives, this set is a truly complete set with every necessary knife in the block! You even get 6 steak knives, shears for your herbs and a honing steel to keep those edges in shape! The curved bolster on the Pro set makes all the difference - gives more support and comfort. And the ice-hardening process makes for super-sharp and durable knives that will not rust or chip. One of the best German sets you can own!

This block has everything knife you need in a kitchen. Pro knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and forged from one piece of steel so durable for a lifetime. The bolster is curved and perfect to hold with pinch grip. The knives are also ice hardened which translates to the blade starting sharp and staying sharper longer. The block has a full size santoku and a 5" serrated utility, these knives are never in a block. Added bonus, it has 6 steak knives, the same quality and make as the top knives. Love the richness of the walnut block.
