Great watch/GPS for golf

I bought the watch about a month ago and have used on a number of different golf courses with excellent results. Great versatility with additional straps.

Had the watch for a couple of weeks and I am very happy with so far. Only changed it once so far and still have 5 days of battery life left. (With my Apple Watch I had to charge every day!). I’m most impressed with the golfing features. Still have more to learn but so far I highly recommend it!

Love the EPIX Pro!

I bought this watch because my instinct solars battery became unstable. I have always liked Garmin products and the epix in no exception.
I got the slightly larger face with a white band. Aesthetically it has a sporty elegance to it which allows for both formal and training wear.
The screen is easy to see even with my eyes. I have not yet tried out all the features of the watch but it had been easy to use to HIIT, walking, biking, and even Pilates.
Overall I am pleased with the Epix and using it daily. Please keep in mind I am not an expert training person so my usage is for day to day tracking and some workouts.

Hoping for updates

This is a great watch. I’m just hoping that updates will come out for it. Like adding pack weight and rucking activity. Or some of the other updates that the fhoenix eight is getting. Garmin please don’t forget about the Epix series of your watch line

Lots of problems with Heart Rate monitor and more

Very disappointed, the heart rate monitor works maybe 50% of the time, and that completely throws off the sleep analysis which again will only work if the heart rate monitor is working. Unfortunately, that's basically why I bought this model. not happy.

The Golf application alone is worth the change. Touch screen is wonderful too and re: golf it has so much variation to help identify exact yardage and hazard locations. The software is simplified with fewer "global" settings and infinite adjusting to customize your settings.
