Great, but not the best

This is a great sport watch but not enough of a smart watch.
I like how all the metrics collected (try) to make sense of it all, but in the other hand I find that for the most part it is over analyzing and in addition based on inaccurate information. Sleep tracking constantly robs me of 1.5-2 hours every night. Being as it is, I see less value innit as a complete trainer / coach but an excellent tracker. Smart watch capabilities are not anywhere near an Apple Watch.
Elevation measure against my Edge computer, my Wahoo Elemnt and my Apple Watch all render the same consistent results where the Epix is around 15% less.
Referring to information while on a workout is far superior to Apple Watch.
All in all a great device but one start off due to the fact that contrary of my expectations and reason for buying, I cannot trust it as my sole source of analyzing my readiness condition, body battery and recovery. It just does not know as well as you do.

A lot.of features but a bit complex

I have been using Garmin watches since 2009. Started with the pre GPS watch FR60 and have used over 40 Garmin watches in the last 14 years. Always switched to a new one and I think I will stay with my Epix Pro for a while, cannot think what else might be added to the new model.

Love this watch!

I've had the watch for about 3 weeks now and I love it. Great features, the Garmin app is much better than other health apps out there, and outstanding battery life. I'm glad I made the switch!

Great features and love the screen brightness

I ended up replacing my FR 945 with the FR965; however the functionality of the golf was not working well so I replaced it with the EPIX Pro 47mm. I needed a watch that holds a charge for an Ironman and several rounds of golf. I especially like having all the functionality of their new Approach S70, but still have the function for a multisport lifestyle. There are a few glitches when they do updates as It keep changing me to an 8'4" man that weighs 1445 lbs. it has also erased some key workouts and wipes my history. However now I know this I can correct this in the settings.
