I love this watch. I had two different Fenix models over the years and last year I made the switch to the Epix Pro 2. It's been reliable and durable.

I had a Garmin Instinct before I purchased this watch. The Instinct was a huge upgrade from the Casio I had before, and the Epix is a huge upgrade from the Instinct. The Amoled display is amazing, easily visible in full daylight. I will most likely never go back to a regular display again. The battery lasts for up to 16 days in smart mode, and the GPS and maps are great! I also love the tide data, steps taken, and market data. Great options to customize the watch face. Very happy with the Epix altogether.

The watch is so packed with features it is diffuse to know if I am fully utilizing it. This is my first Garmin and a multi year Apple Watch user. Solely battery capacity makes this watch superior. I have been wearing for 3 weeks. Haven’t really used the maps much, which was my primary reason for getting this model. Probably could have gone with the Instinct 2 or 3. Seems like functionality is the mostly the same, minus mapping. But again I am still learning the watch.

This was a big upgrade for me, coming from an older Samsung watch. That watched served me well but the battery life has nothing on the Epix Pro. The ability to customize is great. Has many features for varying exercises, activities, etc. I charge the watch twice a month with always on display off, with it on I get about 5 days per charge. Lots of good features. Hard to beat the price when I got it about 3 months ago. Great watch, next will be a tactix.

Why Did It Take Me Long To Get One?

As a long-time user of Garmin Edge products, I only recently got the Epix Pro to complete my day-in-day-out tracking and non-biking activities. It is probably more than I need, but I chose the Epix for its great build quality and clear AMOLED display. I'd recommend this product for beginners to experts.
