When I learned that a friend used a paring knife for every kitchen task, I purchased this knife for her. It's longer than her paring so will tackle more jobs easily, but it did not intimidate her like a chef knife. She loves it. Great knife for her, great price for me.

The Classic line is the best kept secret around. They are value priced but made with German Steel and the knife if fully forged. They are like a cousin to top of line German knives made by Zwilling. I use this prep knife for quick cuts or chops. It's really strong but has some flexibility too.

This very nice prep knife does so many tasks, it has become my go-to knife! Does the job of both small and larger knives; is super-sharp, a forged knife and has a handle for comfort and a good grip.

Like all of our Henckle knives, they are just about as good as it gets. It has a really nice feel. Sometimes our eight inch chefs knife is a bit much for the job at hand. This a very nice alternative. It rocks!

The 5.5 Prep Knife is made of German Steel and is a very good value for an Henckles knife. I use it to cut fruit and small vegetables like carrots and celery. Good everyday knife and holds is sharpness.
