[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes when you use something frequently, you run the risk of losing it. Well that’s what happened to the utility knife that came with my block set. So when I replaced it, I decided to upgrade to the twin signature version. I should have done that ages ago! If you use a knife daily, you appreciate the ergonomics of the handle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a replacement serrated knife to use primarily to slice vegetables such as tomatoes as well as sandwiches. This knife is very sharp and sliced through the tomatoes easily. The grip and knife is well balanced as well. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our best wedding gift 27 years ago was a beautiful set of Henckels knives. I have heavily used them and finally the serrated knife’s wooden handle began to crack. Just replaced it with closest version I could find. I am sad to see how flimsy this new knife is in comparison. The thickness and weight of the blade is noticeably lesser than the original. On a positive note, the knife is quite sharp and perhaps some people prefer a lighter weight knife. I imagine that this new knife will never last as long as it’s predecessor and I’m sure that is by design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for contacting ZWILLING! Thank you for your review and for your feedback
Our Twin Signature knives are precision stamped from a single piece of German steel, resulting in lighter weight knives that do not compromise sharpness. We are sorry over time our knives have evolved to accommodate the needs of not only our customers that are chefs but everyday consumers. We have incorporated ergonomic design with lightweight materials to make it easier on the wrist during long time cutting and dicing. There is no difference in quality. However, we do have a heavier series in weight and thicker handle called Zwilling Pro. The Bolster is angled. Or the Zwilling Professional “S” Both series are heavier Forged Knives
