Ice-hardened rock hard carbon steel which starts and stays sharp. Wrapped bunch of times for added stability....also adds to the unique Damascus pattern. Ash wood grip is an added unique bonus! Great magnetic easel included.

This is the most beautiful set of knives I have ever seen and I love how they are displayed on an easel so that you can see how pretty they are because the blade isn't hidden like they would be in a normal knife block. This set includes ever knife I need and I love the extra length on the bread knife to get through sourdough loaves.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used Henkel Twin Stars for almost 30 years. These Miyabis are at a different level. The thin profiles of the bases and the balance of the larger knives when using the pinch grip is fantastic. I bought the 10 piece set. I hope to use these for the next 30 years.
