Miyabi Black are the sharpest knives on could ever use. There are 132 layers surrounding the MC66 steel. The handle is made from black ash wood and each handle has its own unique "mother natures" design. These knives are worth every penny.

Striking presentation of Miyabi's newest assortment. Beautifully crafted 133 layered damascus patterned blade and contrasting black ash wood handle, which carries over to the honing steel specific to the MC66 blades. Multipurpose shears for cutting bones, screw lid, and bottle opener. True beauty of sharpness!

The magnetic easel shows off these knives perfectly.
These not only look stunning but their performance is outstanding. The edge is so sharp it can easily replace your madoline. Edge stays sharp for consistant cutting and sharpens easily.

It just doesn't get any better than these from Miyabi-Black series! They are a work of art, and even more so make every kitchen task easy and enjoyable. I especially loved the 133 layer Damascus pattern which is what sold me. These are a pleasure to use and hold and stay sharp and are so durable. What's not to love? A true investment purchase.

With a construction of MC66 steel, these knives are truly in a league of their own. They really are scapel-like sharp and cut with such ease. The handle is beautiful, but really just a part of the overall great work of art this set truly is. This is a set you'll pass down to your kids! Worth the investment!
