perfect size and shape

This wonderful sized knife is perfect to grab for small jobs, and light prep work. Good knuckle clearance, strong blade shape and good width of blade. The MC 66 Steel is unbelievably strong and nick resistant. Stays sharp a really long time!

This knife is one of the most beautiful Japanese knives I have seen. From the blade to handle, it is truly a work of art. Due to the quality, the blade is scalpel-like sharp and will do your prep in the kitchen with ease.

The Miyabi Black line is one of my favorite and the prep knife is one of my most used knives in the kitchen. It is super sharp so can slice, dice, and chop with percision and it feels comfortable in my hand due to the D-shape handle which is very important. This knive is super sharp and durable due tot he MC66 steel and special ice-hardening process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best little knife that you'll ever use, not to mention that it's a gorgeous sight! I love the size of this knife because it isn't too big and it great for all the small tasks around the kitchen.

Tremendous prep knife. Good introductory knife to Miyabi Black; also an excellent knife to round out a set. This little knife will amaze you with all that it can do. Smooth strokes through raw meats as well as crisp vegetables.
Miyabi Black knives are sleek, elegant, hand-made and incredibly hard. They are the hardest knives Zwilling makes, 66 on the Rockwell scale. The dual beveled blade edges are sharpened to a slight 10 to 12 degrees on each side. All this means is they will slice so smoothly it will bring a smile to your face each time you use one.
The knives are also gorgeous. The Damascus pattern on the 133-layer blades complements the beautiful Japanese Black Ash handles. No two are alike. These knives take a little maintenance to keep the wood handles smooth and beautiful. Enjoy and care for these knives for a lifetime.

Bargain at twice the price...Rock hard steel with multiple supporting wraps for sharpness retention. Love the knuckle clearance on this well-balanced, little guy!!
