One Versitile Pan

You can use this pan for anything. A gratin, roasting a chicken, frying a burger, literally a game changer in the kitchen. Staub's amazing black matte finish produces the best searing on meat that I have ever seen. Made in France and a lifetime warranty.

I am a big fan of the crispy parts of food that sticks to the sides of the pan during cooking. This baking dish creates a fabulous ring of crispy goodness all around the edge.
My favorite recipe to cook in this are the 5 Spice sweet potatoes from the Staub cookbook.
Bakes evenly, stays hot long after it's taken out of the oven and can be used for multiple recipes not just au gratins.

Perfect Baking Every Time

Don't be fooled by the black inside and out; this is not your Grandma's cast iron. It is enameled outside which makes it very chip resistant. It is enameled inside which assures perfect browning, but it doesn't require seasoning.
This is my go-to pan for au gratin potatoes. Nothing adds more flavor to food than being nicely browned. It is also perfect for cobbler. I love how cast iron stays warm much longer than a stainless steel or glass pan. This pan is durable enough to use on the stovetop or in the the oven.

Great baking and serve dish

It was more $$ than I thought it should be, but has ended up being worth every penny. I use it more often than I would. Great for chicken, meatloaf, veggies, mac and cheese. So easy to pull out of the oven and place on the table..

This enameled cast iron oval baking dish makes for a wonderful serving dish. Perfect casseroles and gratins from the oven or roasted vegetables done on the grill, will keep warm when placed on the table in this terrific piece.

My absolute favorite for all Au Gratin dishes. The stunning black color is a perfect backdrop for your Veggie and pasta dishes.
Heats beautifully, and stays hot fora long period time.
