Lobster Pot Pie

That's the first thing I made in this. It is a perfect size for two people when serving something rich and decadent. None of the great features were omitted or compromised when making this adorable pot. I often use two when making bread so I can get two loaves from one large batch recipe. One to keep one to share; or better, one plain and one with cheese and herbs.

These are adorable little Basil cocottes are perfect for individual servings, desserts, sides or sauces. Since they are cast iron, they can go from oven to table to fridge with ease. They are the perfect addition to any table setting. I also love that the lids have the dimples on them just like the larger cocottes, that way when utilizing the lid in the oven, it will help retain the moisture inside, and not dry out your food creation.

This beautiful basil cocotte is the ideal size for anything from cooking rice, boiling pasta or making smaller servings of soup. The cast iron will work it's heating magic to perfectly cook any food while the self-basting lid will give food ideal flavor and texture.

I love this basil color and I enjoy cooking and stewing summer vegetables and grains in this one. Try a cream of tomato in this one!! It is everything you would expect form a Staub pot. The innovative black matte interior will heat evenly and stay consistent throughout the cooking process. The dimples on top of the lid aid in the flow of moisture. Beautiful

This is the newest Staub piece I have purchased. Loved the heat retention in this Cocotte.

I love this color, it is so cheery and bright, always makes me happy to pull it out and have it on my stove. I love all of the cocottes because they have superior browing and frying capabilities and nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan. I love the spikes on the underside of the lids that continually baste your food whether in the oven or on top of the stove for a long braise. I take the cocottes straight from the oven or stove to the table for serving so I can spread that cheer that this color brings. Cleaning is easy as well and I never need to use more than a plastic mesh scrubber to get it nice and clean.

My entire family uses this little cocotte. It makes and or heats up soup, it steams, deep fries and we even cook burgers in it. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. My favorite thing about the pan is how well it sears burgers and steaks. Perfect caramelization every time.
