I love this color, it is so cheery and bright, always makes me happy to pull it out and have it on my stove. I love all of the cocottes because they have superior browing and frying capabilities and nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan. I love the spikes on the underside of the lids that continually baste your food whether in the oven or on top of the stove for a long braise. I take the cocottes straight from the oven or stove to the table for serving so I can spread that cheer that this color brings. Cleaning is easy as well and I never need to use more than a plastic mesh scrubber to get it nice and clean.

Use this bright cocotte for smaller dishes and reap the benefits of the innovative Staub technology. The self-basting lid and enameled cast iron interior will yield the most flavorful results and will make you want to use your Staub cast iron for everything.

Bright Addition

This is such a bright addition to my kitchen. The red color is so brilliant and it is very chip resistant. The black interior browns perfectly every time and the dimples on the lid traps moisture and creates a little rain forest over my food. Incredible flavors in short cooking time.
This size is perfect for a small roast for two or any side dish. It can start on the stove and go straight to the oven. It is excellent at preparing rice! Always moist and fluffy.

This pot is great for warming leftovers, heating up soups, stews or mac & cheese, or roasting your game hen. Beautiful colors to sit on the stove for a pop of color, when not in use. Heats well and evenly, cleans evenly! Get one of the interchangeable animal knobs to add some fun to the cocotte!

My entire family uses this little cocotte. It makes and or heats up soup, it steams, deep fries and we even cook burgers in it. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. My favorite thing about the pan is how well it sears burgers and steaks. Perfect caramelization every time.

Looks smaller from the outside but serves quite a bit of rice, stew, etc. Enameled everywhere...the cherry red color is tough & classic. Inside has thick enamel that cleans quite easily.
