If you want the very best Japanese knife, this is the one. It is made of one of the hardest steels available which ensures an incredibly sharp knife that will stay sharp. It is a stunning damascus design and a beauty black handle with the signature Miaybi pin. Miyabi knives are known to be the best; sold and made in Japan as a premium knife. Definitely a knive to show and use every day.

This knife is like owning a Japanese sword! Crafted from MC66 steel it reaches an impressive 66 on the hardness scale meaning it will retain its razor sharp edge longer. The core is covered with 132 additional layers of steel to produce the beautiful damascus pattern. The traditional Japanese D shaped handle is made of black ash...a true luxury.

From the razorlike 66 rockwell blade tip to the classic metal butted d shaped handle, this knife is perfection. The steel is amazing in hardness and strength. the 133 layers of meticulous layers are stunning and the amazing ash wood handle with classic rivet, superb. For the guy or gal who already has everything.. there is this knife!

This lovely 8 chef is the best in the world! With MC66 steel it is scapel-like sharp and a beautiful piece of art at the same time. The handle is so nice and fits so well in your hand. This is a knife you will have forever and pass down to the next generation.

Very firm, multi-wrapped Japanese micro-carbide blade. Damascus pattern and ash wood handle make each one it's own work of art. Scalpel-sharp and stays that way.

This is the most beautiful knife I have ever seen and it is also so sharp that you will not be able to go back to another knife. The blade has such an intricate design that is mesmerizing and the handle's design matches the awe inspiring beauty. You can really see the craftsmanship that goes into each an every knife that is made.

For Serious Knife Lovers

This is a Chef’s knife. Not because of the shape, but because it is all that a professional could want. It is tough and hard. It will stand up to hours of work and hold an edge for months on end. That's because it has 133 layers of super-premium steel, ice hardened to 66 on the Rockwell. All that means to me is that I love cutting with every one of these knives. It is effortless. It makes my strokes elegant and I easily get into a rhythm when I am using a Miyabi Black. I love this line!

Everything about this knife is perfection. The weight and feel are perfect. The Maple handel is unique and makes each knife special. The Damascus style on the blade is excuisite. The steel is very hard and stays sharp for such a long time. It is also a breeze to maintain and keep at razor perfection. I love Miyabi knives and this one is something special.
