[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this knife. It doesn't fail. I keep it hidden from everyone else in my house. It was inexpensive, but high quality.
I have always been a fan of Henckels knives. I love the size of this knife. Not to big and not too small for all of my prep work. A forged German steel blade at an affordable price. The traditional design fits in with all of my other knives as I upgrade my collection piece by piece.
Wanted a good paring knife on a limited budget. The Classic is made by Henckels which is one of the oldest German knife company's. The steel is from Germany but the knives are actually made in Spain to take advantage of the lower manufacturing costs. This no means affects the actual performance of this knife! Great for small jobs. Hulls strawberries, peels veggies and fruit effortlessly. A true extension of the hand which is exactly what I was looking for in a paring knife. Has become my all time favorite in just a few days. Looking into purchasing a chef and serrated knife s well.
Good balance. Comfortable in the hand. Excellent quality of steel holds the edge extremely well.
I really like my Henckels Classic knives. I've had mine for 20 years. These are forged knives made of quality steel. They have a triple riveted handle, a comfortable integrated bolster. Even if they aren't made in Germany, the steel is, and their quality is unquestionable.
Perfect little paring knife. Made from German steel and forged from one piece of steel the knife is super durable and will last for years to come. The blade is so sharp it will get through anything. Handle is 3 riveted style that is comfortable especially for big prep projects.
I love how these knives are made in Spain and not China like a lot of the other knives in this price range. I also like the classic design. The handle is super comfortable and I love the 3 rivet design.
