Great starter knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is perfect for a beginner cook who is looking to chop/slice more efficiently. I wish it came with a sheath for storage, but it does have a cover for the point.

Perfect size and balance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a small prep knife for vegetables and repetitive chopping tasks and the Henckels is perfect. It's solid but not too heavy so my hand does not get fatigued. The edge stays sharp for quite a while and a quick hone brings it right back to sharp. Feels really good in my hand. I was a professional cook early in my career and I miss the ergonomics and tools of a restaurant kitchen. The Henckels gives a major advantage in my daily cooking tasks. I love it.

Although manufactured in Spain this knife is performing like our first GERMAN made chef’s knife. We have every expectation that this level of sharpness and slicing ability will continue.
