This is a good option for a value line bread knife. It is sharp enough to get the job done and has a comfortable handle too, all for a good value.

I love the way this bread knife slices baguettes and sourdough boules. The serration doesn't destroy the crust it cuts thru without tearing. If you don't normally use a bread knife you should, its life changing!

Classic Look for my bread

This bread knife cuts right through crusty sourdough loaves with ease without crushing the fluffy interior. I love the handle because it is nicely curved to make it more ergonomic to use. I also love the classic styling of the design.

Well balanced and great sharpness and serration, which is exactly what you want from a bread knife. These are a great value and would make great gifts or stocking stuffers.

More than a Bread Knife

I'm a big fan of serrated knives, and this knife does not disappoint. Use it not only for breads, but cutting watermelon, tomatoes, onions, even pineapple. The blade is strong and glides through even the hardest surfaces with ease. The handle fits perfectly in the palm of my hand, and love how comfortable the grip is. This knife is a great value and has multiple applications in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cutting my bread using a as-seen-on-tv almost had me in the hospital now then once. I got tired of playing chicken with my digits after crusting a nice rosemary loaf and checked online hoping to find another statement knife. I got lucky and brought it home. On the first slice into the bread with the teeth sinking firmly into the crust and not darting about towards my hand I'm in love. Thanks guys for this weighty but balanced piece!

What I was looking for

Henckels, and Miyabi knives, these were among the first folks I checked with when I wanted to replace my existing bread knife, It checked all the boxes for me, including affordability, a stiffer blade, and a handle of greater diameter than the Flint stainless (which I'd been using for many years prior to my interest in higher quality cutlery). `
