A CUT Ahead.

Have had this knife for 8 plus years. It is easy to throw a sharper edge on it with the steel. I cannot begin to estimate the number of times I have used it For me it is better for slicing fruits and vegetables rather than meat. I especially like to ribbon slice root vegetables with it.

Great Everyday knife

This is my favorite knife to use in the kitchen. Just the right size and weight for easy cutting and chopping. Nice one piece construction which makes it much more durable than some of thre other knives I've used in the past. Also dish washer safe which is a definite plus!

Great value. Made from high quality stainless steel so won't rust or tarnish. Blade has mico serrations so it never needs to be sharpened. Ergonomic handle is comfortable and easy to grip.

7-inch santoku knives are extremely popular. They are exceptional for all the tasks necessary for preparing a meal. Excellent for cleaning and chopping meats, fish and poultry. But where this knife really shines is with vegetables and fruits. It is wide and long enough to slice through eggplants, squashes, large summer tomatoes, big sweet onions. The Granton grooves are designed to create an air gap so wet, sticky vegs - like cucumber and potato - fall away easier.
Silvercap knives are micro-serrated. They will stay sharp for years to come. No extra maintenance necessary. These knives are stamped from high quality German steel; a stainless steel that won’t stain, and doesn’t require special care. Just use, wash, dry and repeat. The full tang construction, meaning that there is a single piece of steel from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle, is stable and durable. These are good quality knives at an affordable price.

All of the blades are serrated in Silvercap so there’s no edge maintenance! Perfect for someone that is just getting into cooking or someone who might be on a budget that just need some good knives to get the job done
