These steak knives are beyond amazing. Crafted using SG2 microcarbide steel that achieves 63 on the hardness scale which gives them their exceptional edge retention of the razor sharp 9 to 12 degrees. Each blade has 100 layers of steel over the core to create the damascus pattern. You will want to have steak every night just to use these!

The Ultimate Steak knife

These damascus steak knives are not just beautiful, they are the ultimate in steak knives.
The wide, three rivet handle seems like the perfect shape to fit comfortably in your hand while slicing through a steak. I love the unique pin in the center that Bob Kramer makes by hand and ships to Japan; such an awesome, personal touch.
The blades have amazing edge retention because they are made of SG2 steel. It is a very hard, powder steel. So not only are they extremely sharp, but they are going to stay sharp and be very easy to maintain. The damascus design isn't just for beauty, the 100 layers protect the steel core.
And the beautiful wooden box is the perfect storage.

These are the ultimate in steak knives and if you want to have not only a thing of beauty, but a set of steak knives that will be sharp and stay sharp, then these are the set you need. Beautiful chevron damascus made of SG2 powdered super steel and a special ice-hardening process, create a sharp and durable knife. It is much nicer to glide through your steak while cutting, rather than tearing it to pieces.

Adding these knives to my table brings everything to the next level. Damascus steak knives are famous in kitchens world wide but its rare to see them as part of a table setting. The chevron damascus pattern is very unique. The styling of the handles complete with the Bob Kramer signature pin calls out its authenticity. The blades are made of high carbon steel and are super sharp, cutting through anything put in front of them.

The gift that keeps on giving

We chipped in and purchased these steak knives for our father's retirement. He was blown away. As a fan of Bob Kramer, he couldn't have been more pleased. Each has a one of a kind damascus design. They are super sharp with a chunky comfortable handle. They come in a storage box, so dad can save them for a special occassion or use them every day. I can't tell you how many times he has pulled them out to show them off.

Kramer has created a beautiful and amazing collection with the Damascus. These knives are so worth the investment. They look amazing, with the chevron design look of the 100 layers of the SG2 steel. The black micarta wood goes so well with the blade aesthetic. Honestly, there is nothing quite as good as these steak knives, they are so amazing and do a great job slicing steaks.

Leave it to Bob Kramer to design these beautiful steak knives. There are no shortcuts with these steak knives, they are made from SG2 steel with 100 layers protecting the center layer. They are Cryodur ice-hardened creating a blade that cuts like a scalpel. They will stay sharper longer that all other knives and look like a work of art.
