Classic design & lifetime quality

Professional S is terrific line of knives. They feature a traditional straight bolster and a slightly smaller handle. As a result they are a little lighter than the new Pro line. I have owned one of these knives for years (more than 10). It has performed year in and year out, and I cook a lot. I sharpen it maybe twice a year. I always hand-wash all my knives, even though they are dishwasher safe; that's probably why mine looks almost new.
This set has every knife a person would need for a long, long time. The only thing it's missing is a carving set for the holidays. Maybe a 7" filleting knife if you like to prep your own fish.

Best Knives I've Ever Used!

I purchased this knife set a couple years ago and I have had no complaints with them! I love how classic these knives look and I know that I will have these for as long as I am cooking! I love how it comes with every knife I will ever need and steak knives too!

This is a dream set of kitchen knives. Everything you could want in a high quality set and then some. 3 different kinds of paring knives, 2 serrated shapes and of course the wonderful steak knives. The bamboo block is so nice and smooth, it looks much better finished that others out there I really like haveing the full bolster between the handle and the blade, it adds weight and makes me feel a little safe away from the sharp (really sharp) edge.

These forged knives have an amazing feel. You'll enjoy using them because they are weighted perfectly and are razor sharp. They glide through everything effortlessly and are easy to keep sharp because of the high quality steel. This set includes every knife you'll ever need plus eight steak knives.

This beautiful block has all the knives you need, even the steak knives (what a great bonus). I love the weight of these knives and how well the handle fits in my hand. The bird's peak pairing knife is also wonderful to have. I have never used one until this set, and it is so versatile.

Can't go wrong with this set! This set is complete with everything you will ever need, inclduing a bird's beak peeler & a HE Santoku & shears. Not many blocks have all the components & they are a top-of-the-line set - forged in Germany & steak knives in Spain.

Awesome German Knives

This set of Prof S knives is everything a girl could ever dream of! They're made in Germany, they're forged so they are super sharp and stay that way and they're going to last for the rest of my life. They have such an awesome weight without being too heavy. One of my favorite knives is the little bird's beak peeler; it's perfect for coring strawberries or devining shrimp...definitely going on vacation with me. Eight steak knives are perfect! Most sets this quality either don't come with them or only four.

These set is one of my favorite to sell at my store! It's priceless..!!! I know for a fact that Prof. S is something you can never say anything bad about it. It is all German knives and those steak knives are awesome!
