[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally splurged and bought this nice Pro S box set and man these are super high quality knives. The chefs knife and santuko knife are absolutely amazing! We used the steak knives a few nights ago and they cut thru the meat like butter. I expect to win these for decades.

These knives were a gift for my daughter and son in law. She's been doing a lot more cooking and didn't have good knives. I received my knives as a gift from my husband who has purchased many Henckels knives in the past. She is extremely happy with her gift.

Classic design. German steel. German made. Everything I look for in quality cutlery is in this set. As a better than average home chef i know what makes a good knife. The full bolster and full tang give me confidence in every cut. I love how easily they resharpen and how long they stay sharp. Also 8 steak knives as opposed to 4 is a big plus for me.

The only block set you will ever need

This 18pc block set comes equipped with all of the knife blades you will need to work around your kitchen. In case you want to add, there are a few open slots for add on knives which is a bonus. The 8pc steak set is a great addition to this set. The knives are friodur ice hardened to give the knife blades long lasting sharpness. I love the traditional and classic 3 riveted handle design which are so comfortable and easy to hold.

I like that the 3 smaller knives are knives that are used quite often in the kitchen. Not a lot of blocks carry this configuration and this one is impressive. Every knife in this block is a knife you would most likely buy on its own because they are used that often. Great value with German steel and made in Germany. The block has a couple extra slots so if you find another knife you can't do without, you will have room to store them in your block.

This set has every knife you need in a kitchen. The knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and fully forged. This means the blades will stay sharper longer and are extremely durable. The set includes steak knives which are made with the same quality.
