Excellent Knife Set!!

It's replacing a smaller Henckels set that my wife and I received as a wedding gift 25 years ago. That set is still in great condition and will be "handed down" to my daughter, who loves to cook.
I really love this new 18 piece set. These knives are from the professional "S" series and the quality is really impressive. I really love the set and look forward to using it for the next 25 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a different brand name for many years. I just started using this one and it is so sharp but I don’t feel it as being dangerous. This set is perfect for a daily uses.

Great Knives

Great knives, non-matching block

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives were packaged very well. They are super sharp and ready for work as soon as they arrive. They are of very high quality steel and construction. They feel very comfortable in your hand and are easy to work with.
My only issue is with the included wood block. It is much lighter in color than in any pictures, I prefer darker. Also, you are left with a few empty slots after all included items are stowed in the block. That just seems odd to include a block that does not property fit the amount of knives you purchased. And the knife slots are in no way matching to the knives in the set. The knives are made in Germany but the block is made in China. You decide.
