Never needs sharpening

Great value! The micro-serration can never be sharpened, but then again never needs sharpening. Great for a college student, second home, RV or camping trip. Good size for slicing. Performs well for the price!

The kind of arched shape of this knife actually facilitates cutting. It keeps your hand at a good angle to chop quickly with a repetitive stroke. Its a good knife for slicing and carving smaller pieces of meats, large vegetables.
Silvercap knives are micro-serrated, so they will stay sharp for years to come. No extra maintenance necessary. Just use, wash, dry and repeat. These knives are stamped from high quality German steel; a stainless steel that won’t stain, and doesn’t require extra work. The full tang construction, meaning that there is a single piece of steel from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle, is stable and durable.

This is a nice value knife. It’s full micro serrated blade is maintenance free, no honing or sharpening. It’s lightweight ergonomic handle is comfortable to hold. Does a great job slicing vegetables and fruit.

This 6 inch utility knife is great knife for slicing, dicing, etc. Everyone should have a knife like this in their kitchen. It has a comfortable handle and a sharp blade for a very good price.

The Henckels Int'l Silvercap brand is widely used and loved for its lightweight yet functional use for so many tasks. I use this one for cutting strawberries for strawberry pies, kiwi, smaller fruits and veggies. Easy to grip and comfortable for long cutting or slicing times. Utility knives do it all and make the job easy with the serrated edge and never any sharpening. Great value brand!

Versatile Knife

The micro serrated blade is a good maintenance free knife. It easily cuts through a tomato, orange or celery, but also does a nice job on small meats and cheese. No honing or sharpening required. The flexible blade goes through the handle and is very comfortable to use.

I was looking for a paring knife with a very fine serrated edge….this knife has this but the blade is so thick that it makes it had to use when slicing small soft fruit or vegetable……also it would be helpful if company made really clear if the “inch” descriptor refers to just the blade or the whole knife
