The knife that got me back in the kitchen

I'm a former chef that hung up my knives in 1998. I had no interest in cooking any longer and started a different career. Sometime in April of 2020, this knife showed up at my home. Waiting for my wife to come home from work, I decided to use it to make dinner that night. UNBELIEVABLE quality. I'd pay double the price for this piece and still be happy. I started cooking every night again. I had no idea that a sharp knife could get me back in the kitchen, but it sure makes cooking more enjoyable when you can cut the items that you're cooking. I bought 4 more Zwilling blades. I'd like to tell them that they got me through the pandemic by keeping me busy in the kitchen again. I'd recommend anything that they sell. Quality is higher than the price. That's pretty rare.

This knife is the perfect size in my kitchen. Not too tall, not too small, just the right length. Holds its edge masterfully. Very pleased with this newest addition.

Very nice hand feel, perfect balance, wonderful edge to the blade. For the lowest price of the Nakiri knives, I have no problem recommending this knife.

I’ve only had it for a few days, but I can tell this knife is made with quality steel and the edge will hold, the curvature on the knife’s edge makes it a perfect knife for just about any cooking related tasks. Backed with a good company that has many benefits. Can’t go wrong here!
