Can't beat it for the money

This is a true straight-edge chef's knife. It is the workhorse in professional kitchens. It is also a great deal.
The Solution line of knives is a good step up to quality stamped steel cutlery. The knives are made from high quality German steel that will not stain or rust or pit. They are made - from the tip of the blade to the heel of the handle - from a single piece of steel providing terrific stability.
This knife is lightweight without compromising blade sharpness. Maintained properly, it will last many years. Extremely good value.

So far so good. Currently it is sharp and has worked well. My concern is that the blade is very thin, and may disfigure. I also don't know how long the knife will stay sharp and whether because the bad is so thin, whether sharpening it will cause a problem.

This 8 inch chef knife is a very lightweight, balanced knife due to the stamped construction and full tang. This knife is wonderful for every day tasks in the kitchen. It is a a very versatile knife. The handle provides a great grip and the blade is very sharp.
