I love these knives. They have lasted much longer than any knife I had used in the past. I am definitely going to purchase the block in the near future. I love the design with the rivets and it is lightweight yet sturdy.

good blade- excellent value

The 8" chef knife is the one you will use for 90% of your kitchen prep work. The shape of the blade is designed for rocking and chopping. I like the curve bolster for full use of the blade. I like to mince at the back edge of the blade. This is a sharp, durable and well balanced blade at an incredible price.

Good knife, my previous one lasted 15 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although you don’t pay a lot for this knife, my last one has been a good one for me for 15 years! That’s pretty decent. I could keep using it but I busted the back part of the handle and I find it mildly irritating. I cook all the time, usually 2-3 meals per day, and this knife has been a work-horse. Hoping this next one will last me another 15 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved Henckels knives. I have 8 of them. Easily sharpens to a razor edge, like the way the knife body goes straight through the handle to the end. Slices and cuts things like butter
