The Nakiri is quickly becoming one of my favorite knives to use in the kitchen due to the versatility of the blade profile. You can use the santoku on meat, poultry and vegetables, but it really shines when chopping vegetables and will find that it is easy work with the three-rivet handle which fits perfectly in the hand. This knife is sharp and will retain it sharpness due to the FC61 steel and the special ice-hardening process

Butter squash challenge

Lightweight and versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very versatile knife that is lightweight. At first glance I was thinking it would be too heavy for me, but actually is easier to handle than expected. Easily sliced ginger. This is my first Miyabi purchase and I am very pleased.

This is an elegant knife that at first glance looks heavy. However, it is quite lightweight and versatile, easier to handle than expected. Sliced ginger with ease. Beautiful in form and function, we are very pleased.
