everything at a great price

Zwilling knives have always meant the best to me. This set gives me everything I need without breaking the bank. I love the traditional design with the logo on the rivet. The quality German blades are super sharp and are real easy to maintain. I am very happy with this set.

Unique Assortment

Replaced my entry level block set with the Gourmet. Really like the unique assortment of knives, especially the 2.75 peeling and 3 inch vegetable knife which I find extremely useful in the kitchen. Use the 5" serrated all the time, and great having the slicer for carving meat and poultry.
The knives have a full tang which make them very durable, and they are light weight because they are stamped, yet still made with the German Special Formula Steel that Zwilling is none for. I also like the lighter price which comes with this set too.

Great Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this as a gift and upgraded from my cheap knife set. These are amazing and are sharp. I was able to add an extra knife and my own steak knives in the block.

Block not customized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the knives fiine but its like the block was made for a different set. The 2 knives above the shears literally rest on top of them. Some openings are way bigger then what the knives need. Therefore it looks a bit sloppy unless you take the time to align the spacing.

Best knife set I've owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have typically bought cheap knives, which dull quickly and break. My wife and i decided we wanted a quality set of knives. These are German made and super sharp right out of the box. Time will tell if they hold their sharpness, but i imagine they will.
