The get you with the terminology. 10 total pieces, 7 knives, one pair of scissors, one sharpening steel, and one wood block. Yes the wood block counts as one of the 10 pieces. Besides that, these knives are the nicest I’ve owned so far and will probably last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I replaced my old knife block and couldn't be happier with this one. All 8 knives are wonderful, plus space to add my own steak knives! Highly recommended!

I bought these knives because I cook quite a bit an needed something that would cut well. You will not be disappointed by this purchase.
