These knives are perfect. I needed a second 4-inch paring knife and this new one is the same great quality as my original that I bought over 16 years ago and is still going strong. The large knife is very sharp and the rounded blade makes it excellent for chopping. Very high quality.

Great price for two essential kitchen knives. For a little bit more than the price of a good German Chef's knife, I was able to purchase this set. Have my eye on a serrated knife from this line which will give me all the cutlery I need in the kitchen.

the perfect pair

I don't have a lot of space and really try to keep my kitchen very organized. I didnt want a ton of knives and this set is just what I needed. One big one for most of the work and the pairing knife for smaller jobs. The German forged steel stays super sharp . The classic design is comfortable and familiar to me. I am really happy with these and when I get some more space Ill definitely purchase some more.

The Chef and paring knife are two of the most used knives in the kitchen. Wanted my son to have decent knives while he's in college, and figured these two would allow him to do all the cooking tasks he encounters while not cluttering up his counter with a block set.

Great starter set!

I am new to cooking and I wanted to get the knives I feel like these are the knives that I really needed to start out. I like how the chef's knife is perfectly balance, even if it is heavy, so that I know I have the knife in my hand. I love the classic look of these knives and the fact that these were made in Germany makes me confident that I have a quality product and has lived up to that expectation.

I love this 2 piece set. It comes with the two most important, useful knives for your kitchen. I love how the bolster protects and guards my fingers when I am cutting. These knives are super sharp, so I definitely do not want to cut myself.

The most used knives in my kitchen are the chef and the paring knife. I was so excited to add this set to my block (yes I had space) because my teenagers are starting to help with dinner prep, we no longer need to wait for someone to finish to use the chef or the paring. It mostly benefits me but it also lets them keep their hands busy at the same time!
