I got this 2.75 qt cocotte with at least 5 chips on the rim, I have many different size cocotte ,this one's quality is the worst , have to return it !

This baby grenadine cocotte is ideal for preparing pasta, rice, morning oatmeal..etc. The small size makes the cocotte much lighter and easier to transfer from stove/oven to table. No matter what your are cooking/baking, the innovative Staub technology on the inside of the cocotte will impress every time. The self-basting lid and nonstick enameled coating will help result in food with perfect flavor and texture.

Pass the side dish please

I have several Staub pieces. This one is a little too small for meat dishes or a large batch of soup. But I get a lot of use out of it for sides dishes. Great addition to my Staub family.

Excellence is construction for even heating and heat retention. I like using this size and shape for smaller potions of beef or chicken stew. this size is also great for "Sunday"
gravy. Brown meats, simmer, stew and finish in the oven.
The innovative black matte interior and lid will not stain!! Love the dimple on the inside of the lid for continuous basting..without pouring!! Great pot for every day use!

Cooking can be challenging but with this Staub cast iron 2.75qt. cocotte is wonderful, cooking should be fun and exciting.
This size is great for soups, deep frying, braising, pot pie, just everything a pot can do.
It is manageable to ensure dish is perfectly cook and it is light for its small is good to serve up to 4 people.
It is dishwasher safe and oven safe. Smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen.

I seem to grab this little cocotte for everything from making a quick soup or frying a burger. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. Most favorite thing about the pan is its searing ability, my son loves the caramelization on his burgers and steaks!
