Grandmother's favorite knife

This is my grandmother’s go to knife. She has had this knife for years and really likes using a smaller blade for when she cooks and peels, and she loves how lightweight the parer is so she can hold it and it won’t get heavy in her hand after using it for an extended period of time. After using it, I can see why she loves it, it does such a great job peeling and quartering fruits and potatoes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Finally purchased a forever knife! Broke down and spent just a little bit more, for a knife I will never have to replace! Love the comfortable grip on the handle, as well as the bolster which makes it feel so much safer than my previous stamped knife.
The knife is made in Germany and it is high carbon steel, which checked several boxes for me. It also is dishwasher safe, so I no longer have to worry if my kids put it in the dishwasher when I am not home.
Perfect for paring and slicing pounds of potatoes, which I do almost weekly. Don't know how I survived without this little guy.

I have had the Zwilling J.A. Henckels Four Star set for over 15 years! I had to order this knife because my wife accidentally through it away!!! They keep their edge, and are not overly hard to recondition when the need comes. The best knives I have ever had by far!!! From time to time we will have people visit and want to cook for us. Once they use our knives they are flabbergasted at how sharp and precise they are...No better validation needed.

I was lucky enough to find this knife about 8 yrs ago in a thrift store, it was fairly old when I got it. Best paring knife I’ve ever had and kept an edge well. Good balance and fit my hand perfect. Had to go out of town and when I got back my knife was gone.
I immediately went online and got the same one. She’s a beauty, just like the old one but new. My number one knife out of my collection.

I bought a set of these almost 25 years ago and although the etching of the logo has faded from the blades and we have sharpened them many times, I have never been disappointed in my decision to buy these knives. We lost the paring knife during one of our many military moves and I was happy to be able to get its replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought several 4" Four Star paring knives (& 3") a year ago. Without realizing it, they became our go to cutting tools. Unless we need something bigger, they are all we use. The handles fit our hands perfectly & the blade cuts beautifully & holds an edge well.
We just bought 2 more & will throw away all the old knives cluttering up the drawer.
