I have a Zwilling wooden block for all my Zwilling knives and I love them all. I have had most of them since the 1960’s. My first ones were a wedding gift and they may have come with the block. It’s been so long I really cannot remember the exact timing. Over the years, I have lost a few of the knives. The lost ones were always the very small paring knives. I have replaced them at least once and very likely, more than once. The last time I ordered replacements, I did receive two knives, and like all your products, they were very nice. However, I thought I was ordering replacements for my missing knives with a serrated blade and the length from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle being 7 1/8 inches long. The knives I received were 8 inches long. The handles are identical but the blades are totally different. Do you no longer make the smaller knife with the serrated blade. I am including a photo of two knives. The shorter blade knife is one of the knives that I have had for many years and it is what I thought I was ordering. The longer blade knife is the one that I received. Please let me know if you still have the shorter blade knives, and if you do, how do I order them. Thank you for your assistance. Also, I’m happy to keep the two you already sent. I will happily pay for two more if you still have the shorter serrated ones. Just let me know how to order them. Thank you! I have had my original set of these knives for 30 years. Other than having to have them sharpen periodically, they have shown no wear and tear. They are well balanced, and comfortable to use. Unfortunately, my paring knife fell into the garbage disposal, handle down. I bought a replacement and was thrilled to see that it is exactly like the one that was gifted to me 30 years ago! Thank you!!
Razor sharp as expected. I've had a Four Star 8" chef's knife for over a year so I'm confident that this paring knife will perform well over time also.
A fantastic all purpose knife suitable for fine, delicate work. As always Zwillings knives hold an edge longer than other popular German brands and take a lot of abuse bouncing right back with a few swipes on the honing steel.
