This is a great knife! It’s big and versatile, the lightweight handle does make the knife blade heavy. Perfect for someone that needs a workhorse with good edge retention.

I can see why Four Stars are best-sellers! Forged knife made in Germany from German steel. Ice-hardened for a sharp blade, stays sharp, hardness and rust-free blade for life. While 10" Chef may be a bit long for some hands or jobs, there is always the option of a 8" also! Handle feels comfortable and easy to hold.

The Zwilling Four Star 10" chef's knife is the perfect knife for the professional chef. Molded handle, no rivets, makes for a comfortable grip, and approved for commercial use. The 10" blade gives me the surface area I need to slice and chop large quantities of food at the rapid pace required.
Made in Germany, the high carbon steel is durable, holds and edge and is easily maintained. The Four Star line of knives have been used by professional chefs for over forty years. Always recommend these to anyone looking for a great knife that will stand the test of time.
