The perfect rocking santoku

I love this knife. The blade is beautiful, with 100 layers of SG2 steel, it is an amazing piece of art, and it cuts so smoothly, like butter. The birchwood handle feels so nice in hand, and looks perfect with the blade. This knife is the perfect all purpose knife, you can chop, slice, mince with this blade. Miyabi makes wonder and durable Japanese knives, definitely one of the best rocking santoku knives on the market.

The rocking santoku is one of my favorite knives in the kitchen and this Birchwood version makes it functional and stylish. The strong Damascus steel promises long lasting sharpness and effortless cutting while the beautiful birchwood handle is extremely comfortable in the hand. Be sure not to expose the wood to too much moisture/water to avoid the handle from cracking.

The shape of the rocking santoku blade allows you to rock or chop so fluidly. The Birchwood blade is gorgeous with its one of a kind damascus detail. The handle is lightweight and comfortable. Amazing knife.

Miyabi is known for showing great attention to detail. Careful construction and craftsmanship. This knife is a unique shape for those who enjoy the extreme rocking motion for cutting. I like chopping my herbs with this ultra sharp knife.With the rocking motion, you can make quick easy work of a lot of product. The birchwood handle is stunning and super comfortable. Every detail is considered.

A Rocking Santoku

Beautiful Japanese crafted blade and handle in a rocking santoku. Knife allows you to alternate between the chopping motion of a santoku and rocking ability of Western chef knife. Comfortable birchwood handle and acute edge angle of blade will have knife gliding through everything placed on the cutting board.

This knife really is the best of both worlds. Functions like a Chef knife with the attributes of a Santoku.
The handle on these knives feel so secure and smooth in your hand and look absolutely beautiful over time. The 101 layer Damascus is stunning and gives the knife a nice balance. Super fine edge is very sharp and stays sharp with proper care and occasional sharpening.

This knife is a perfect size for everyday use in any kitchen. It’s very sharp and holds an edge for a long time. The Damascus pattern on the blade is beautiful. The handle is lightweight and each handle varies from each other.
