I grab this knife when I am chopping smaller, heavier fruits and vegetables. The blade has good width yet is easy to maneuver . My daughter likes this size, It fits well in a smaller hand. The innovation is with the bolster. The curves half bolster with the rise is comfortable to hold. I like that I can use and sharpen the entire length of this blade.

Just the right size for a chef knife.

This Professional 6" chef knife is great for my hand, just the right size. This chef knife size will cut large food despite it is slightly small, with control for a grip that is ergonomic. Comfortable, balanced size will quickly become the go-to knife for everyday tasks. This knife will cut large chunk of meat, vegetables, and even delicate big piece of fruits like Cantaloupe or watermelon.
It's the most easiest to sharpen for it's half bolster, nothing gets in the way no matter what you sharpened it either stone or machine.

This 6" chef has a wider belly than most. It's great to use for herbs and smaller veggies then the wider blade allows for scooping off the cutting board.
The Pro knives are made to last a life time, feel great in the hand and the curved bolster makes using a correct pinch grip effortless.

This 6" Pro Chef knife with a slightly wider blade is great for so many jobs and sometimes smaller hands prefer a shorter blade. The Pro curved bolster gives me more control and comfort and this forged knife and blade is and stays super-sharp and durable for a long time. Rust and corrosion free, too!

This is a perfect example of a perfect knife from a perfect company! This has become my favorite chef knife because of the deep curve on the blade. The handle and the curved bolster are excellent as well and sit beautifully in you hand but that deep curve on the blade sold me on this guy. I am tall so having the ability to really rock my blade rocks my cutting world. I get a nice clean cut and the follow thru on the motion makes me feel like a pro.
