This is an awesome set of forged knives. Forging improves a knife's weight as well as giving it better edge retention (will stay sharp longer). It has great weight and balance, and I love the curved three rivet handle; very comfortable.
This set contains all the knives you need, you can chop fruits and vegetables large and small; peel and pare; the serrated utility is designed to cut through anything hard on the outside and soft on the inside, such as a tomato, orange or a roll; a bread knife plus 8 great serrated steak knives. All of this in a beautiful wood block.

I bought this set at my local Sam's Club. I never had a really good set of knives until I bought this set. It has two extra slots for if I buy extra knives. That's wonderful! I'm sure they won't match the set but I will buy the brand. These knives are very sharp. The weight is very nice. I really don't know why I struggled so long without a great set of knives. It is worth every penny to buy a great set. I'm glad I bought them

Fabulous set of knives for all your kitchen work. These knives are incredible sharp, durable and well balanced. The full bolster allows for the perfect spot for your grip. The classic three riveted, contour handle is extremely comfortable to hold. So happy to have the 8 steak knives. Impressive set at an exceptional value

Each knife is built with an ergonomic handle for maximum comfort and the forged blades stay sharp and offer long-lasting durability. Keep them sharp with the accompanying honing steel!
