The chef's knife has excellent balance and is extremely sharp. The steak knives are the best steak knives we have used. An excellent value at this price point.

Super Sharp - Perfect Size

I did a lot of comparisons and this set had the perfect knife variety and convenience. I got the 14 piece Self Sharpening version at Target on sale. Amazing how sharp the knives are and like the fact that they self sharpen when placing back into the block. The are stamped German Steel but are made in China. You get the quality steel but the budget price on manufacturing cost.

So far so good. Great quality, but one of the steak knives is missing its print on the butt. And I feel like they could be a little sharper.
