This is an awesome set of forged knives. Forging improves a knife's weight as well as giving it better edge retention (will stay sharp longer). It has great weight and balance, and I love the curved three rivet handle; very comfortable.
This set contains all the knives you need, you can chop fruits and vegetables large and small; peel and pare; the serrated utility is designed to cut through anything hard on the outside and soft on the inside, such as a tomato, orange or a roll; a bread knife plus 8 great serrated steak knives. All of this in a beautiful wood block.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hot knife through butter

Right out of the box I had to trim a picnic shoulder. Compared to my old knives, these were like a hit knife through butter. Very comfortable to use and maneuver with. Looking forward to years of easy use
