The true blue, love this size!

Cooking can be challenging but with this Staub cast iron 2.75qt. cocotte is wonderful, cooking should be fun and exciting.
This size is great for soups, deep frying, braising, pot pie, baking breads, just everything a pot can do. It has enough space for anything in your recipe'.
It is manageable to ensure dish is perfectly cook and it is light for its small is good to serve up to 4 people.
The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results. colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table.
It is dishwasher safe and oven safe. Smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen.

This size cocotte is perfect for small jobs. It makes and or heats up soup, it steams, deep fries and we even cook steaks in it. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. It sears beautifully when cooking any meat as well. Perfect caramelizatinon every time.

Treat this little dark blue cocotte similar to a saucepan as you boil water for pasta or warm up soup. The smaller size make this a little bit lighter and much easier to maneuver around and clean. You can still get all of the benefits of Staub cast iron even in a little package: perfect browning/searing, sublime heat distribution and retention and self-basting lid technology.

Nice for Two

This smaller profile cocotte is a great size if you're cooking for two. It also comes in handle for side dishes...this houses my baked corn casserole every Thanksgiving! No seasoning of the iron is necessary because Staub cast iron has a matte black interior that cleans up so easily. The exterior glazing is beautiful and scratch resistant even when scrubbing off baked on mess.

Love this french cocotte. The lid has a tight fit to retain moisture which also helps to keep your food tender and juicy. I have been amazed with Staub and how their design can bring out the natural flavors of food.

I love this color, it always makes me happy to pull it out and have it on my stove. I love all of the cocottes because they have superior browing and frying capabilities and nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan. I love the spikes on the underside of the lids that continually baste your food whether in the oven or on top of the stove for a long braise. I take the cocottes straight from the oven or stove to the table for serving so I can spread that cheer that this color brings. Cleaning is easy as well and I never need to use more than a plastic mesh scrubber to get it nice and clean.
