Space in your cooking area near the stove is limited and this is a great solution for holding the lid to your cocotte. Many dishes require the lid on at times and off, or just cracked a little, so having you lid nearby your cocotte is very convenient. I have a couple of these so that when cooking large dinners and using multiple cocottes, each as their own holder.

Whenever I cook, I am always looking for a place to put my lid and this is a genius tool! This makes sure that my counters stay both clean and giving me more room to cook.

Never knew I needed this, until I got one and then it made perfect sense! The benefit of the Staub lids is that they are heavy duty and they capture moisture. Well, what to do when I am stirring? In the sink, on the counter? Not anymore. I set the lid next to the stove, no dripping all over the kitchen.

I love this little cast iron lid holder. It is so easy to set my lid in there when I am cooking and don't need it. Plus, who doesn't want their rooster lid on display?

Perfect for Hot and Heavy

So if you cook with Staub you know the lids are heavy and can get hot. This lid holder anwers both problems. Its really sturdy so you don't have to worry about the lid falling over. Bonus, the holder works for other cookware too!
