The Staub cast iron lid holder is perfect for my neat freak mother who likes a nice looking orderly kitchen, even when cooking up a storm. Nice and sturdy, fits a nice variety of different size and weight lids. Prevents messing countertops and damage from excessive heat.

The Staub cast-iron lid holder exceeds my expectations. It is balanced, heavy, and sturdy;
feeling very safe to hold a lid. It is easy to take out the silicone parts for cleaning. It is covere in black enamel matching the Staub signature pieces. The condensation on the lid collects into the silicone insert sparing your counter top from heat and a mess. I got 2 of these lid holders and I am thoroughly delighted at their flawless function and pleasing design.

I have always hated having to put a hot lid on the counter when cooking. This holds it out of the way easily. I put mine just behind my spoon rest. The silicone trough comes out for easy cleaning of anything that drips down and the feet on the bottom keep it securely in place.

This is a fantastic, must-have invention. Works perfect next to my stove that has very little counter space but will be a staple wherever I go regardless of workspace. I use it for cast iron and my Demeyer set of cookware lids. Superb.
