Basil is my top choice and my favorite color of all Staub mini covered cast iron cocotte. Colorful outside enamel adds beauty to your kitchen and table setting.
This mini cocotte is perfect to single serve dish,Ideal for making single servings of hearty soups or savory stews, desserts and decorative in your kitchen when not in used.
Staub cast iron, boasts one-piece, provide excellent heat distribution and retention.
Perfect for use in the oven, smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetop including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen or outdoors over a campfire.

I really like using this mini for individual sides and soups. Perfect for reheating stews for single service.
I like using this size for egg custards and fruit crumbles.
I also put spices and salts in these. they look great and stay fresh on my counter.
Everything you would expect from a Staub cast iron...only on a smaller scale!

Surprisingly we use this mini cocottes almost weekly. I use these to serve french onion soup, chile or pot pies. Last week we had french dips and used these for the au jus. The heat capability of this mini cocotte is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for throughout dinner.

This size is great for mis en place while cooking, for storing salt near your stove, or for individual servings for family gatherings. They go from oven to table easily and look great on the table. I collect them in all different colors to mix and match!

This cute basil mini is great to bring out for a bit of festive color during the holidays. Use this for baking individual serving of sweet treats, decoration around the house or as a stylish pinch bowl for your spices/salt/pepper.

I made little individual souffles in these for a dinner party. Looked very "French" and they came out perfectly right from the oven. Great French made quality and choice of colors.

I love all of my Staub pieces but I am OBSESSED with these minis. All of the benefits of full size Staub just in a smaller size. The enamel coating is inside and out keeping with the traditional matte interior. The braising spices are still featured on the lid. These are full cooking versions but I like to use mine for serving and for holding my salt and pepper in the kitchen.
