I made a creamy Bolognese for Mother's Day in my Le Creuset 7 qt for the family. Using my other sizes of Staub more often than this 7 qt, I was extremely annoyed with how the Le Creuset performed. Ingredients kept sticking to the bottom of the pan over and over and started to burn. Even after a few hours simmering. I bought this Staub 7 qt after and gave my Le Creuset away. I had enough! While nice visually, the Le Creuset just does not perform nearly as well. I made chili in the Staub and it was a pleasure to use. And speaking of beauty, my wife will not take this beautiful pot and the 5 qt Eucalyptus Cocotte off of the dining room table because they look so good. Even with entertaining a group at the table on Memorial Day. Thank you Staub!
