Zwilling-Henckels is Worth Every Penny and More...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without a doubt the professional knives, manufactured by Zwilling-Henckels have proven to me to be one of the worlds best knife products. I have been using my Professional 4 Star knives since 1977, when I graduated college for Hotel Restaurant Management and where I learned how to use such knives to prepare and cook great dishes.
When I purchased my first set of Henckels 4 stars, 44 years ago I knew I was investing in something of high quality. It's German engineering, like a fine BMW or Mercedes. AT the time they were probably considered an expensive knife but they were still a great investment. And now 44 years later, I've probably recommended them to everyone I know who loves to cook and now and then I'll purchased one or two as a special gift to family or friends. Yes, I'm a really big fan of these knives and the lifetime warranty makes them, 'Worth Every Penny."
I've had to returned one of those 4 stars (44 years old) one 5 Star Santoko which I've had over 10 years. It took a little while to get the replacement for the Santoko but, the service representative was excellent, friendly, concerned and attentive with a follow up call to make sure I got my replacement and that I was happy with it. Who does that on a product, purchased 10 years ago?... and to top it off, my 5 Star Santoku was no longer available so the representative offered me an upgrade... Who does that? Bottom line, this company, Zwilling-Henckels has been making great knives for a LOT of years and they have not diminished their integrity and faith in their own products. Not many large companies even care about their customers, much less sell quality products anymore. These knives are likely to outlive me but My daughter would love them and be the proud own of these spectacular, reliable and extremely high quality cooking knives - to remember all the great dishes she enjoyed over the years of me cooking for her.
As for my brand new Zwilling-Henckels PRO 7 Inch Slim Hollow Edge Santoko Knife, I have not been able to put it down - It just feels like quality in my hands and does it's job with style and flare. Thank you Z-H for such great products and for standing behind them 100%.

A huge upgrade from my Henckels Classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a set of forged Henckels for 20+ years. My 5" Santoku recently chipped after years of abuse. I decided to upgrade to Zwilling Pro and picked up this 7" Santoku. WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The cutting, balance, and craftsmanship are noticeably improved. I got 20 years out of that Henckels. This Zwilling should have twice the life with the same regular personal use. Invest in knives that will last you a lifetime.

Love this knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to upgrade my knifes from 25 years ago. I didn't like the weight or balance of my old Henckels and I was tired of using them.
This is such an upgrade! For me the weight is lighter and fits my hand perfectly. It slices effortlessly be it veggies or thin slicing proteins for stir fry.

This is a fantastic knife. I never knew how bad my 15ish year old knife until I used this knife. I've never owned a knife this sharp. I'm very happy with this purchase.
