Great for soup!

Cooking can be challenging but with this Staub cast iron 2.75qt. cocotte is wonderful, cooking should be fun and exciting.
This size is great for soups, deep frying, braising, pot pie, just everything a pot can do.
It is manageable to ensure dish is perfectly cook and it is light for its small is good to serve up to 4 people.
The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results.
It is dishwasher safe and oven safe. Smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen.

This lovely white truffle round cocotte is akin to a typical 2-3qt saucepan. It can be used for many things including cooking pasta and rice, warming up soup or even baking the cutest loaf of bread. The unique combination of the self-basting lid and pre-seasoned cast iron interior will work its magic whether on the stove or in the oven, giving you the perfect flavor and texture every time.

I like to know how many cups these pots will hold! Approximately 11 cups is a good amount of liquid for soups and stews. I like to use this pot for Ratatouille, beef and chicken stews as well as potato and leek soup. The innovative black matte interior is self seasoning and aids in the release of food from the pot. Clean up is a breeze. I often wipe out this pot with a damp paper towel. I like the flat tight fitting lid. gives me a place to anchor my utensils.

I love the Staub cast iron cocottes for their versatility and great looks! Just a personal preference for family and friend gatherings. I like how they look on the table, and how easily they go from the oven to the table. These are good for hot, cold, and room temperate dishes and are so easy to clean!

These round cocottes come in a variety of sizes, all of which roast, boil, bake, fry, braise and simmer to the highest possible standards. Cast iron cooking has been around for millennia and there is a reason. It is the ultimate for low slow cooking. Put the pot on the fire come back hours later and the food is done.
So if you like cast iron comforting reliability of cast iron cooking then why not have a pot in every side. Cooking for 1, or 2, or 3 or 20, its all so easy in Staub's beautifully crafted pots. The workmanship and the quality of the cast iron ensure that the heat is directed to the food. The fine enamel finish - inside and out - make for attractive presentation at the table, and easy clean up afterwards. Enjoy each size as you use them. I do.

This is an awesome smaller round cocotte. It is great for two person meals, soups, chilis, etc. The white truffle color is really pretty and goes well with any occasion.

Adorable little cocotte is perfect for side dishes. The pan has impressive heating capability. Heats quickly, evenly and stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish so you meal doesn't dry out, even while waiting for dinner to be served.
